Help us rebuild the South Mount
Hawkins Fire Lookout

On September 1, 2002 a wildfire swept through the San Gabriel Mountains, taking with it this historic tower.

The Angeles National Forest Fire Lookout Association is a group of Volunteer citizens working in direct cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service in order to rebuild, reopen, operate and maintain a replacement tower.

Your help is needed!  We have launched this campaign knowing that there are other concerned citizens who also want to protect our forests.
